There are some things we go through that can feel deeply isolating like:

  • Navigating PCOS or Endometriosis
  • Being Childless without Choice
  • Baby loss
  • Coming to terms with early menopause

Colourful clouds and golden rainbow of hope, fertility counselling.

These experiences can bring sadness, shame, confusion, and a sense that your body or life path isn't as it should be.

You may feel emotionally stuck or unheard, even by those closest to you.  These issues may also affect the partners - whether male, female or same sex - who share in the emotional impact of fertility difficulties and loss.  Even in the strongest of relationships it can cause a strain or distance between partners.

It can feel challenging to manage the rollercoaster of emotions that come with these experiences. You don't have to go through them by yourself.  I offer gentle, creative counselling and hypnotherapy in Horsham, West Sussex, online and via the telephone, to help you reconnect with hope, meaning, and yourself. Please reach out if this resonates with you and you need support.

Honouring your story, your feelings, your body, and your strength ...

Flower opening, counselling in Horsham

Fertility struggles, pregnancy or baby loss, living with PCOS, or navigating early menopause can feel incredibly isolating. These experiences often go unseen, even by those closest to you. You may feel lost in your body, disconnected from your identity, or overwhelmed by emotions that come in waves: grief, shame, anger, confusion, or deep sadness.

Sometimes it feels like no one truly understands the weight of it all, the silent heartbreak, the waiting, the what-ifs, the constant trying to hold it together.

Compassion and support in counselling.

In therapy, you don’t have to pretend. You don’t need to be “strong” or have it all figured out. This is a space where you can let your guard down and simply be as you are; raw, real, messy, exhausted, hopeful, numb, all of it.

  • You’ll be met with compassion, not judgment.
  • Care, not comparison.
  • Time and space, not pressure or advice.
  • This work isn’t about fixing you, because you are not broken.

It’s about honouring your story, your feelings, your body, and your strength even in the most vulnerable moments.

You don’t have to carry it all alone anymore.

I offer tools, tips and supportive posts on my facebook page: Creatively Dreaming Therapy, with Helen Taylor.

I Can Help With

I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore what you’re going through; at your own pace, in your own way.

This may include:

  • Fertility difficulties (with or without a diagnosis)
  • The emotional impact of fertility treatment (e.g. IVF, IUI)
  • Pregnancy loss and miscarriage, including recurrent loss
  • Coming to terms with unexpected life paths or childlessness
  • PCOS and its impact on body image, identity, and self-worth
  • Perimenopause, early menopause, and menopause
  • Hormonal health and emotional overwhelm
  • Grief, shame, and relationship strain inked to reproductive experiences
  • Anxiety around fertility treatment, miscarriage, baby loss and menopause.

How I work

My approach is gentle, down-to-earth, and rooted in connection. I bring both professional training and personal understanding to this work, holding space for you with empathy and care.

You might not even know how to start, and that’s okay.

We can talk things through, sit with what feels difficult, and begin to make sense of your experience together.

Sometimes I use creative tools like imagery or journaling, which can be helpful when words are hard to find.

I also offer hypnotherapy, which can support emotional regulation and reconnecting with your body in safe and gentle ways.

This is a space where you can be fully yourself, where all parts of your story are welcome.

Taking the First Step

Beginning therapy can feel daunting, especially when life already feels heavy.

But you don’t have to wait until things feel “bad enough,” or find the perfect words to explain.

If something here has resonated with you, you are warmly invited to reach out.

I offer a calm, supportive space to talk things through and see if we might be a good fit to work together.

You’re welcome to email me or request a short phone or video call to ask questions, share what’s on your mind, and take that first gentle step toward support.

You deserve to be held in your story, just as you are.
